Importer, Viglietti Motors (Pty) Ltd, have engaged in an agreement with the Automobile Association of South Africa for the Roadside Assistance and Fleetcare Service.
What this service entails:
Emergency Roadside Assistance:
- Emergency roadside intervention (basic assistance)
- Flat battery restart and swapout
- Change of Flat tyre
- Home start service
- Out-of-fuel assistance
- Urban and rural towing
- Accident tow-in service
Medical Emergency:
- Emergency evacuation and transfer to the most suitable medical facility
- Medical Hotline 24-hour information, referral and advice
- Guaranteed hospital admission
- Relocation after treatment
- Dispatch of emergency medicine
- Monitoring and liaison with the next of kin
- Travelling companions for minors
- Repatriation of mortal remains
- Hazardous chemical and poisons information
Extended benefits (all inclusive):
- Exchange vehicle for 48hours (or more) of class type F,G or H (BMW, Mercedes or Audi)
- Overnight hotel accommodation for the driver and one passenger following a breakdown, collision or theft (5 star where available)
- Flight (one-way) arranged and paid for driver and one passenger (business class)
- In the event of theft, provision of alternative transport for the driver and up to four passengers to their destination or home address. A vehicle of class type F,G or H will be provided.
- Chaperone service for stranded minors
- Transportation (or costs covered) for a driver to collect the repaired vehicle
Standby You Services:
- Roadside security in conjunction with ADT Security to clients who have broken down at the roadside in potentially dangerous circumstances. The service applies to selected areas of Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town and Durban
The costs of the Roadside assistance is borne by Viglietti Motors (Pty) Ltd and covers a period of three years all inclusive. The vehicle gets its own identification card with the VIN on it. The customer will have the option of continuing the assistance plan after three years on their own.
The service also includes a toll-free service dedicated to Maserati Clients with answering in a choice of languages. I have published a list of technicians’ numbers (including my own) that may be contacted in the event of necessity, available 24Hrs/7.
